2025 Independence Day Parade
The Annual Independence Day Parade sponsored by the New Fairfield Lions Club will be on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 9:30 am. We invite you to participate in this longstanding New Fairfield tradition honoring our country. Ask your family and friends to attend and join in our celebration to show our support for those who have defended our freedom in the past as well as the present.
We want to get signups confirmed early to make our planning and your experience much easier. The theme again for this year's parade is “Patriotic – Red, White & Blue”. Awards will be given in the following areas:
● Best Theme
● Best float
● Best marching unit
● Largest Group
● Lions President's Award
The parade line-up will start at Route 37 in front of the New Fairfield Senior Center and continue north towards Hillside Drive. All participants are asked to assemble in their line-up positions between 7:30 and 9:00 am.
The parade will follow its traditional route, marching south on Route 37, turning west onto Route 39, passing Town Hall, and onto Memorial Field, where the ceremonies will be conducted, and refreshments will follow. For participants marching in the parade, a bus will provide transportation from the Board of Education building across from town hall on Route 39 to Overbrook Drive beginning at 7:30 am.
We highly encourage ALL groups to use the bus or walk to Overbrook Drive.

The purpose of the form is to provide us with the information needed to develop the parade marching order. The earlier we receive confirmations from the participants, the smoother the process will go, now and in the future. To submit your unit’s registration, please complete and return no later than June 30th:
